About Ephemeral

Ephemeral is a daily quotes app operated by Flawless Studio LLC, a United States company. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Flawless Studio LLC. The app shows quotes from the topics you choose, lets you save favorites and collections, write your own quotes, set reminders, customize themes, add widgets and share quotes as images.

These terms cover the Ephemeral app and this website. You do not need an account to use Ephemeral. App Store downloads require Apple's services. For support, email hi@flawless.studio.

Your app license

Your App Store license is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, unless a custom license is provided with the app. These terms explain our service and do not replace the applicable app license or limit consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.

Use the app lawfully and respect intellectual property rights. Do not interfere with the service, or copy or distribute protected material without permission, except where applicable law or a component's license allows it. Rights in the app remain with Flawless Studio LLC or the relevant rights holders; downloading the app does not transfer ownership to you.

Quotes and your content

Ephemeral's quotes come from many sources. We attribute each one to its author as accurately as we can, but wording or attribution may sometimes be wrong; let us know so we can review it. Including a quote does not mean its author is connected with or endorses Ephemeral.

Ephemeral offers encouragement, not professional advice. Some topics touch on difficult experiences such as anxiety, grief or depression. If you are struggling, please reach out to a qualified professional, and in an emergency contact your local emergency services.

Quotes you write stay on your device. You are responsible for what you write and for what you choose to share.

Availability

Features can depend on your app version, device, operating system, language and permissions. Theme photos, downloads and connected services may need an internet connection, and your provider's data charges may apply.

Your quotes and preferences are stored on your device. Deleting the app can remove them; keep any device backups you need. We may update features and compatibility or discontinue parts of the service, subject to applicable law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or indefinite support for a particular device. The applicable app license governs warranties and liability, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

Purchases

Ephemeral is preparing for its first release and does not currently offer purchases. If it offers purchases in the future, the App Store will show the price and what is included before you buy, and we will update these terms. Nothing in these terms takes away statutory refund or other consumer rights.

Privacy and other services

Our privacy policy explains what the app stores on your device, its notifications, analytics and diagnostics, and your choices. Reading these terms does not give consent to processing that needs a separate choice.

The app uses Apple services for distribution, Google Firebase for analytics, diagnostics, performance and notifications, and Unsplash for theme photos. When you share a quote, the app or service you choose has its own terms and privacy practices. Third-party names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the app or the law changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version, and material changes will be communicated as required by law.
